Level 1690 is another multi task level. You have to clear the jelly as well as collect the ingredients.

Collecting the ingredients is not usually the hard part of this level, clearing the blocker and jelly in the bottom right corner seems to be the hardest thing to do. For this reason you should take any chance you get to hit this blocker , either by making matches next to it, or hitting with a combo.

Forget about the ingredients and work on clearing blockers and jelly and you will probably find the ingredients will find their way to the exits without too much help from you.

Work in the bottom of the board when possible to take advantage of any cascades made buy the candies filling in after moves.

Candy Crush Saga Level 1689

You will need to unlock some of the chocolate dispensers at the bottom fairly early in the game to give them time to spawn out the chocolate that you need.

Hit them with stripes or stripe/wrap combos and wait for the chocolate to appear.

Don't waste your combos if there is no chocolate, save them until they will be useful.

The licorice should drop enough for you to collect what you need.

Candy Crush Saga Level 1688

Level 1668 is a double task level, you have to clear jelly as well as collect 2 ingredients.

The candies start in the bottom right square, move through the teleports into the top left square, then down to bottom left and finally up to the top right and out of the exits.

So you have to clear all the blockers to get the ingredients down to the exits, but if you work on making combos to clear the jelly you should find that the blockers will be taken care of and the ingredients should find their way down.

Remember to get the ingredients down to the exits you need to work in the top right square once the blockers are gone.

Don't move the ingredients away from the three columns where the teleports are.

Candy Crush Saga Level 1687

All you have to do to clear level 1687 is to clear the two cake bombs, the first one will clear all the licorice and the second one will get the ingredients down and out of the exits.

There is no need to clear the blockers, the ingredients don't go down the middle section.

Clear as much of the cakes as you can using stripes and stripe/wrap combos and this will unlock the coconut wheel from the marmalade. Once the coconut wheel is uncovered just switch it vertically to clear a large chunk of the cake bombs.

Candy Crush Saga Level 1686

Licorice and a small board can make this a frustrating level, but once the licorice is gone it doesn't come back. However you will get timer bombs from the dispensers and chocolate from the Evil Spawner, so although this is not classed as a hard level, it can take a few goes to pass.

You need to destroy the spawner so take any chance you have to hit it either with combos or by matching next to it.

The difficult bits of jelly are the ones under the bomb dispensers on each side, so if you have a chance to hit those squares you should take it.

Stripes and wraps are fairly easy to make and stripe/wrap combos will give a good clearance.

Candy Crush Saga Level 1695

It is important that you destroy the Evil Spawner before it starts to spawn licorice.

It will be almost impossible to clear level 1695 once the spawner begins to cover your candies with licorice.

You have 3 moves before the spawner gets to work, and each time you hit the spawner it will prevent it from spawning the next move. So as long as you hit it 5 times in the first ten moves you should get rid of it.

Don't let the spawner panic you and make you rush your moves, it won't do anything while you are working out your next moves.

If you don't destroy the spawner before it starts to fill the board with licorice you may as well quit and start again, don't waste time trying to keep up with the licorice.

If you are playing on mobile I would suggest you back out and restart the level without making a move if there are no moves available next to the spawner.

Once the spawner is gone you can concentrate on clearing jelly and lastly getting the ingredients out of the exit. The jelly is the hardest so work on that first, the ingredients are fairly easy to collect and you may find they take care of themselves while you are clearing jelly.

Candy Crush Saga Treasure chests.

How do the treasure chests work?

When the treasure chests are available you will get this picture on the top right of the map page.

Click or tap on this and you will get this popup, which tells you how much time you have left to complete the task. The picture below says 1 minute, but it isn't correct as I had plenty of time to pass the levels needed.

The treasure chests are on certain levels and you have to clear those levels to get the treasure. The chests are usually on the first, third and 8th level you have to pass.

Once the popup appears just click OK to collect the rewards.

Some players have informed us that the chests are sitting over the next level they need to play and preventing them from opening the level. If this happens you need to refresh the game and everything should be OK.

The prizes are boosters and 2 hours of unlimited play.

Candy Crush Saga Level 1692

You will have the best chance of passing level 1692 if you can make some matches in the middle by the chocolate machine before it begins to spawn chocolate.

Ignore any other move except maybe a colour bomb, but even then I would be reluctant to miss a move in the middle if one is available.

If you can't make a move in the middle you will struggle late.

If you are playing on a mobile device I would suggest you back out of the game until you get one where there is at least one move in that middle square before you start to play.

Remember where the jelly is once you have exhausted all your moves and begin to clear the jelly around the outside of the board.

Look carefully at where the conveyors are moving and let them bring your candies together to make stripes and colour bombs.

Colour bomb/stripe combos are usually helpful, although I have found that they rarely hit where you really need them.

Stripes are the easiest to make, just try to get them where you need them to clear most jelly.

Level 1692 is the most frustrating level so far in this episode, but with patience you should be able to do it.

A fish booster may be the best booster to use as it will clear jelly from under the chocolate if you are lucky.

You may not have much choice of moves but try to work as close to the bottom of the board as you can to take advantage of any cascades.

Once you begin to clear the licorice the moves will get easier.

The mystery candies can be either good or bad so you will need a bit of luck with them.

Try not to let the licorice take over too much, it will continue to fall when you make a move without clearing any.

There are not many moves to spare, so make the most of the moves you have by making combos whenever possible.

The new colour bomb/wrap combo is great for clearing just about everything on the board if you can get it.

Clear the cake bombs as quickly as possible, this will clear some more of the board and give you space to work and make combos.

Wrapped candies are always best for growing popcorn and combined with a stripe they will help clear the cake bombs too at the same time as growing the popcorn.

There are not many moves to spare so make every one count.

If you can get two colour bombs together, switching them will clear blockers, jelly and hit the cake bombs, so worth trying if you are not aiming for high scores as you don't get many points for that combo.

Candy Crush Saga Level 1683

First you need to collect the keys which will fall down as you play. This will unlock the candies in the bottom, where the jelly is.

As you are collecting the keys try to make stripes and stripe/wrap combos to fire down and hit the spawners so that they are easier to destroy once you can make matches next to them.

The spawners have to be removed as there is jelly under them, but as they explode they will take a lot of the jelly with them and each one will hit the one beside it so help to remove more.
If you are struggling with level 1683 due to the shortage of moves you could try using a fish booster, this will clear jelly and also give you hits on the spawners.

Candy Crush Saga Level 1682

You need to collect 18 colour bombs including 2 double colour bomb combos and 1 colour bomb/stripe combo.

The moves are very restricted at the start, so you need to clear some blockers in as few moves as possible.

Once you have room to work you have lots of options. A double colour bomb combo will unlock all the colour bombs and the other combos you need will finish the job. There are only 16 colour bombs on the board including the popcorns so you only need to make another 2. As there are so few colours on the board making colour bombs is not hard, the problem is you don't have a lot of moves and several are used up at the start in clearing blockers.

Now that the colour bomb/wrap combo gives you lots of wraps this can be used to help grow the popcorns. 

The 2 colour bomb combos will take care of clearing all the locked colour bombs and the stripe combo completes the orders.

The hardest part of level 1681 is the surrounding jellies which are separated from the main part of the board.

The best way to clear those difficult jellies is by using a colour bomb/stripe combo as long as there are some candies the same colour as the stripe in the jellies on the outside.

If you can't get that combo then you will just have to plug away with as many combos as you can make and hope for the best.

You need to collect a double colour bomb combo and 3 double stripe combos.

The colour bombs are on the board already, all you have to do is collect the keys to unlock them and drop them together.

A bit trickier is getting the stripes together without them self destructing.

You can begin to collect the stripe combos before you unlock the colour bombs if they are available, but be very careful not to lose the colour bombs once they are unlocked, get them together and use them straight away.
Use the conveyors to get your stripes together and once the colour bombs are unlocked forget anything else and get them together before they have a chance to self destruct.

Candy Crush Saga Level 1679

Try to hit as many spawners as you can with every move. Working in the bottom half can cause cascades which may give you several hits with one move. 

Level 1679 can be a tricky level as the spawners will continue to spawn either licorice or countdown bombs every three moves if you don't keep hitting them.

When the sawners explode they will give you colour bombs which can be used to help remove the bombs, but they will be no help against licorice.

The temptation is to rush because of the spawners, but ignore them and look carefully for the best moves, they will only spawn every three moves ans when you hit one it will stop it for a move, so the more you hit them the less they will spawn.

Colour bombs are the secret to passing level 1678 Candy Crush Saga. First make the orange colour bomb wich is conveniently provided in the middle of the board and use that on an orange candy to unlock the bombs.

Then you need a second colour bomb to destroy the bombs. It's easier to make your own colour bombs than to grow the popcorns on the board so take those as bonus if you manage to grow them into colour bombs.

Once the countdown bombs are removed keep making colour bombs to clear the jelly in the bottom of the board.

There is no jelly under the popcorns so you can forget about them.

It's fairly easy to make colour bombs on this level, so look for them any time you get the chance. Switch a colour bomb with a stripe for best clearance of blockers, popcorn and jelly, or better still now that the new colour bomb/wrap combo seems to have been rolled out for everyone use that for an almost total clearance of the board.

No real strategy for level 1677, just blast away with any combo you can make and you should clear it without too much trouble.

Take the time to check the board for the best move and don't get careless.

You have to collect all 8 popcorns and also make 3 colour bomb/stripe combos to complete level 1676 Candy Crush Saga,

The colour bomb/stripe combos are the hardest to make and they will hit the popcorns, with luck, and help them to grow. Wrapped candies on their own won't help much, but switched with a stripe they will also help to grow the popcorns. These can be made early in the game before you start to clear the popcorns.

Two colour bombs switched together will grow the rest of the popcorns by one stage so can be used for that if you can'y get a stripe next to them.

Candy Crush Saga Level 1675

Unlock the stripes on the right side of the board but don't let them drop. The best way is to make a match between them. If one drops it doesn't matter, but try to keep at least one of them in line with the wrapped candies under the ingredients. Fire a stripe into the 2 wraps and they will allow the ingredients to fall down into the main playing area.

Each time you get an ingredient out of the exit another one will fall down so there are usually 2 ingredients on the board at the same time. You don't have many moves to spare so look carefully at the board before every move so you don't waste any.

If you allow the wrapped candies to fall out of place pou will have a hard time clearing the cream blocker holding the ingredients in place. 

A coconut wheel booster can be very helpful, but take care that you don't move the essential candies out of place.

Candy Crush Saga Level 1674

This is a timed level and you have to collect 60,000 points in 60 seconds to get one star.

Level 1674 is not as difficult  as some timed levels. I am not good at timed levels and completed this one with one star in 3 tries.

If you still struggle with timed levels try reading our page on beating timed levels.

The main thing you need to remember is to create cascades, these will give you the extra time candies you need to keep the game moving.

T create cascades work close to the bottom, but take those seconds when the board is settling to glance around the board and look for your next move. Don't wait for the candies to stop moving to start looking, you will either waste precious seconds, or make hasty and bad moves.

Candy Crush Saga Level 1673

Don't move the ingredients out of the columns they are in. If you move them they will need moving again to get into an exit line and that isn't always easy unless you have hand switches to spare.

This can be a lot easier said than done as very often the ingredients will slip down diagonally into the wrong column. To prevent this try to make moves directly under the ingredients rather than off to the side. The colour bomb at the top may be useful if you can unlock one of the stripes beside it and switch them.

The biggest advantage you can give yourself is to clear the chocolate as soon as possible. This isn't always possible and level 1673 can be passed without clearing the chocolate completely, but you will struggle with it.

Candy Crush Saga Level 1672

You have 35 moves to collect 40 cream blockers, 2 popcorns and 5 colour bombs.

The 2 popcorns will give you 2 of the colour bombs you need, so you only have to make 3 more to complete the orders.

You will need some heavy duty combos to collect all the orders. Colour bombs are not hard to make and should be switched with a stripe to get those popcorns. Make sure there are candies the same colour as the stripe in the columns where they will have a chance of hitting the popcorns.

There are not many moves, so don't waste them on matches of three. Try to make every move count by making a special candy or combo.

Since level 1672 is an orders level you may be tempted to use a lucky candy booster. I haven't tried this but you are likely to get either cream blockers or more popcorns, which may be worse than not using a booster at all.

Stripes and stripe/wrap combos are the secret of level 1670.

You need to clear the blockers to let the fruit fall down the diagonal lines, then they will go through the teleports into the main part of the board, then down through the exits.

Unfortunately, or fortunately if you are looking for high scores, once you clear the blockers you will get lots of countdown bombs dropping from the dispensers.

The bombs could be a problem if you unlock the fruit and let it drop just one or two squares, but if you clear the whole diagonal with a colour bomb/stripe or other combo, they will be easy to clear and shouldn't have time to count down.

Level 1670 is another tricky level if things don't go the right way, and very easy if they do!

Clear as much of the licorice as possible in the first couple of moves, then start to collect the keys.

Ignore the frog, he is useful if he grows, but not worth wasting moves on to grow him.

You want to be getting the locked cells open as quickly as possible or you'll run out of moves before you manage to clear all the jelly.

A fish booster may be helpful if you have any.

Candy Crush Saga Level 1669

You need to collect 60 green candies in only 15 moves!

Although not classified as a hard level, level 1669 can be really tricky because of the small board and lack of moves.

You will not be able to collect enough green candies with matches of three. Even special candies and combos will be hard work. What you need are cascades, which you will only get by using stripe/wrap combos, wrapped candies and colour bomb combos.

You will need to play very carefully to get the cascades moving and you will also need a little bit of luck.

You can almost forget about the greens and just concentrate on making combos, work at the bottom to get those cascades going and use colour bombs on any colour, or another special candy.

Level 1669 is very possible without boosters, but starting the level with a colour bomb booster may help a lot.

You need to collect 4 ingredients to complete level 1668 Candy Crush Saga. The exits are below the locked cells at the bottom of the board, so first you will need to collect the keys to unlock the exits.

If you make most of your moves in the middle part of the board that's where the ingredients will fall and it's easier to clear the blockers in just one section rather than having to clear everything.

Level 1668 is not a hard level so you shouldn't have too much trouble with it as long as you take the time to look at the board for colour bombs and combos.

There are just enough cream blockers on the board to give you the orders you need.

Level 1667 is not a hard level as long as you concentrate on making combos and not just matching next to the cream blockers.

Colour bombs will give you the highest scores, especially if switched with a wrap, and switching a colour bomb with a stripe will clear a lot of blockers.

You need to collect 25 licorice whirls to complete level 1666 Candy Crush Saga.

The best way to collect is with stripe/wrap combos, but wait until there is plenty of licorice in the right place before switching them because once the licorice is removed it only drops by one piece every move.

It is a waste of a combo to switch it when there is no licorice in the way to be collected.

Colour bombs are no use unless switched with a stripe or another colour bomb.
